Traditional Triathalons

The Adventure Kids program is proud to have the opportunity to introduce the young adults of today to the sport of triathlons. In a traditional triathlon a competitor must swim a distance, enter a transition area for their bikes, then bike a distance, enter the transition area to prepare for the run, and then finish the race on a run. This allows the competitor to experience the thrill of all three disciplines at once! A feat that is not easy & takes some careful planning & training.

The Adventure Kids Traditional Triathlon will take the kids into the pool for an approximate 100-200 yard swim, 2-4 mike bike and .5 – 1 mile run. We will closely monitor the kids as they enter the water then into the transition area then running thru the finish line. This is a great event offering the kids a true look into the wonderful world of triathlons.
